oh, the joy of summer classes.

Tomorrow marks the beginning of the sixth week of my summer school classes. That means only two more weeks left until freedom! Trust me, I cannot wait--for more reasons than one. This has been such a change taking these classes from a community college from Biola. One of my professors have been unbelievable intolerable and never fails to express his negative opinion towards Christians and God.

In his words: "It seems arrogant and assumptive to profess as truth that which is pure speculation. If you truely read the Bible you would find that the God described there is not at all a loving God but rather a vengeful guy who plays favorites and who is both competitive and insecure."

It is rather obvious that he is the one who hasn't read the Bible "truly," or he would know that God is indeed loving, far from insecure, and PERFECT!

Gah, it's so hard not to be frustrated and actually listen to this guy teach.

I also have been stressed out worrying about getting into all the classes I need to next semester as I have no idea what I need to do before I register. So I have just been waiting for this weekend to pass quickly and allow Monday to arrive. And I definitely need to give this all to God. Worrying does me no good!

I'll leave you with a few words of strength:

There's a cry in my heart
For Your glory to fall
For Your presence to fill up my senses
There's a yearning again
A thirst for discipline
A hunger for things that are deeper.
